Quinn Design Associates is working closely with Petroff Architects and the City of Ottawa to redevelop the ground plane of this significant Class A office tower in conjunction with a significant interior redevelopment. Starting with the desire to update the paving at the main building entry, the project expanded to include the entire perimeter of the site. Since the majority of the site perimeter is on City of Ottawa lands and has suffered from a series of serious subsidence and displacement over time, close collaboration between all parties has been required to achieve the goals of both the City and the Client, and to ensure that the new streetscape paving and planted areas are attractive, stable, safe, and low maintenance into the future.
