Quinn Design Associates was approached to develop the amenity landscape space associated with the hotel’s newly redeveloped indoor pool and exercise area. The area had previously been buried with material dug for the new pool but included mature trees which were retained to enhance the sense of privacy in the space. Our firm developed a new landscape which included decorative security fencing, landscape and area lighting, a significant area of specialty paving, tiered landscape walls, and extensive areas of planting to provide year-round interest for users of the courtyard as well as when viewed from inside.
The landscape was so successful that Quinn was asked to also redesign the front landscape area, a much smaller and less intensive landscape which concentrated on intensity and variety of planting for a pleasing first impression of the hotel.
